Shaping My Future
For anyone who feels like you need artistic skills to participate in the free New Years Day “Shaping My Future” clay+meditation+journaling workshop, here is what I created during the clay activity at the creative intensive I went to at the beginning of November. It’s not about making something pretty. It’s about offering space for your deeper self to create something meaningful.
The first time I experienced my mentor, Dr. Lucia Capacchione, facilitating this activity during my first training intensive in 2007, it changed my life. It is why Sublime Pottery exists. The most recent time I participated in this activity…well, I can already feel life shifting to support my new dreams. Leading this class last week for the community that Dr. Capacchione helped create is a meaningful example of this shift. And, through that, I was able to honor Lucia’s legacy in her recent passing.
I’ve been teaching expressive arts classes for 15 years and I am so excited to finally share this side of me with you
